InterHovse Party Guest Reservation and Entry Information
In an effort to provide the safest and most possible fun environment for the Interhovse Party, please read the following and abide by the relevant guidelines. Also please note that the following information is for current Caltech students (and their guests) only.
Alumni interested in attending the event should contact Karen Carlson in the Alumni Association at 626-395-6593.
General Information
All participants in the Interhovse Party will be required to display a wristband at all times while attending the party. Security will be enforcing this regulation and will remove any person without a pass.
All Caltech students are encouraged to keep their Caltech ID on their person while at the Party.
No participants will be served alcohol if they are under 21 years of age.
Participants over 21 will be issued a maximum of 4 drink tickets.
The total number of personal guests per house may not exceed the total number of students affiliated with that house.
The check-in table will be located near the Ricketts/Fleming courtyard and will open at 6pm on Saturday for pre-registered guests.
Guests who are not pre-registered via this website will not be able to check-in until 8pm on Saturday.
Student Check-In
All UG students living in a Hovse on campus (including Marks/Braun) may obtain their wristband and drink tickets from their Hovse RA after Tuesday, November 13th.
Students who live off campus as well as unaffiliated students including Graduate Students may pick up their wristbands and drink tickets from the Office of Campus Life by 4pm on November 16th. The office is located in the Center for Student Services at 414 South Holliston, and is open from 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
All students who do not pick up their wristband through the available channels outlined above may pick up their wristband beginning at 6pm on Saturday from the check-in table.
Each student who is 21 years of age or older will be issued up to 4 drink tickets each. Lost drink tickets will not be reissued.
Students who have picked up their wristbands before the party may bypass the check-in table and proceed directly inside.
Guest Check-In
Caltech is happy to welcome guests of current students to the Interhovse Party. However in order to provide as much security for the event as possible, all students are strongly encouraged to register their guests on this web site by 4pm on Friday, November 16th.
Campus Life staff will be checking in pre-registered guests at the Ricketts/Fleming Courtyard beginning at 6pm on Saturday. Please advise your pre-registered guest to go to there to obtain a pass to enter the South Hovse parties.
If a host does not pre-register their guest on this website by 4pm on Friday, November 16th, the host will need to accompany their guest to the check-in table in the Ricketts/Fleming Courtyard after 8pm on Saturday.
Guests will be required to show a valid government ID when they sign in. Drink tickets will only be issued to guests who are at least 21 years of age. Guests without a valid government ID may not obtain drink tickets nor may they enter the Party.
I understand all of the rules mentioned above and would like to register a guest.
EFFECTIVE 4PM 16-NOV, PRE-REGISTRATION IS CLOSED...
All pre-registered guests may pick up their wristbands starting at 6pm Saturday at the Ricketts/Fleming Courtyard check-in table. Pre-registered guests do not need their host to be present.
Any students that would like to bring a guest and did not register them through this website may do so beginning at 8pm Saturday at the check-in table. Non pre-registered guests must be accompanied by their CIT host to the check-in table.
